Sunday Services

We offer two Sunday services, at 8 and 10 a.m. At the 8, we have Morning Prayer and sermon with Communion from the Reserve Sacrament, except on the first Sunday of the month, when the Holy Eucharist is celebrated. The 10 o'clock service is Holy Eucharist and sermon with music from our Choir and Music Director. Nursery care and Godly Play, our education program for children, convene at 9:50.

Church School

Pre-K, Kindergarten and students in grades 1 through 3 report to the Daycare or the Godly Play classroom between 9:50 and 10 a.m., then join their parents in church for communion. Students in grades 4 through 6 are in church with their parents through communion, then go to the Godly Play classroom until 11:30 a.m.

Ministries

Trinity Church serves its community in various ways. We count about 20 ministries. Some serve our building, others our religious services, others help people in need. They cover quite a range of talents and interests. Please consider where you might help. Click above for a list of these ministries, one of which may be right for you.

If you are looking for a place to say your prayers, seek God and discover companions for the journey, you are invited to find a home at Trinity. Our church sanctuary is inspiring, the work of noted Rhode Island architect, Norman Isham. It has been part of Pawtuxet Village for over 100 years. Those who come to Trinity live mostly nearby, but some travel a distance because they love the spirit of the church. We lift our hearts to God in prayer and song on Sunday morning and provide a safe place for our children to grow in the knowledge and love of God. We participate in village activities, such as Gaspee Days and Christmas in Pawtuxet. We are committed to helping our neighbors through outreach. We collect food, clothing and household goods for distribution to people in need through local schools, food panties and agencies. Our buildings are a community center and used by many organizations for meetings and events. Please contact me, the Rev. Marsue Harris, at trinitypaw@gmail.com or phone the church at 941-4324. We hope to hear from you
